Our Larger Scale Projects
THON
THON is Penn State's 46 Hour dance marathon that is widely known as the largest student run philanthropy. We are paired with our wonderful THON Family, The Rowan's, who we plan fun events with throughout the year. Last year for THON 2020, the Alpha Beta chapter raised over 17,000 dollars for the FOUR Diamond's Fund. If you would like to donate this year click here.
Troop 339
The Alpha Beta Chapter sponsors Troop 339 in State College both financially and by running weekly meetings. It is solely composed of men with disabilities who are working on their scouting journey. Diabetes Awareness
Each year during National Service Week the national Fraternity focuses on one singular cause, the past two years being Diabetes Awareness. Over these two years we have raised over $700 for the American Diabetes Association along with holding awareness events encouraging others to get pre-diabetes screenings and know their risk factors.
